I was able to synthesize a simple project. Another approach would be to buy a dongle, but I'm not sure which one to get. I'd want to reference these in order to know how to answer your questions above. I had a few setbacks, overcame them and would like to share. Well, one more information I might need to know; what are the limitations of webpack series in ISE 13 versions such as device limitation, floorplanner usage or planahead etc?.

Another point is, since it was a xilinx edition, it was easier for modelsim use. Learn to create a module and a test fixture or a test bench if you are using VHDL. Do you have the specs for that board? I think the HS2 might be capable of supporting more devices.

It needs to run for a simulation time of 13 seconds, but at present takes 40 seconds to run a simulation time.

This will need to be done every time you open a command prompt window you want to use for ISE. I tried using it just a few a while ago. It looks like the same set of pins on each row, so I don't know ewbpack 1x6 interface will work.

It's a very good book to learn VHDL with. I think "XST" is the synthesizer tool because that's when this wbpack would occur attached image.

As you can see, when ISim opened it ran your simulation for you at what the parameters were set in the test bench. If the 3E boards is easier to use, then I'd webpafk that one. I picked up this Spartan-3AN development board to follow along this good book: The command line tool that accompanies ISim is called Fuse.

I got this very simple code to synthesize and program this board; it runs. Active Precision Current Limiting circuit needed 7. Maybe xiilinx can get you a step closer.

I also can't run the debugger.
