You can use MPlab with any version of Proteus, but only 7. Yes Mplabx needs v 7.

Are using Proteus 7. It's only with PBP that I can't simulate. Has anyone come up with a fix for this?

The driver must be installed on the machine running MPLAB 6, whilst Proteus itself can be installed either on the same machine, or on a different one.

Has anyone figured out how to overcome these issues with Proteus yet? Hmm, something strange is going on.
